Araavos enters the Courtyard with Diamond.

*walking up to Max* Hey Girl! Think I can get Ice Cream? Dairy Free of Course.....

Right on it. what kind? Cone, if so what kind? Soft serve? a tub? I've got it all~

You got it *She said. and went to start on it*

*Coming out. sticking close to Araavos. looking around nervously. thankfully it was dark out. or her eyes would be hurting*

*walking her through the courtyard, points up at the sky, to the stars, being a different realm, the view is not one you'd get anywhere else*

*Looking up where he's pointing and looking in awe and wonder at the stars. even attempting to reach up and grab a few.*

*smiles at Diamond* Beautiful, isn't it? *looks at Max* Just a Vanilla Waffle Cone, Max. Thank you

*Jumps back, startled. hiding behind Araavos and peeking at Nazmir. her tail flicking to the left again*

*Giving Axel hers and going to start on Nazmir's*

*sits down with her sundae*

Just focus on the view...

*She nods. and slowly comes out from behind him. and looks back up at the sky. her eyes reflecting the beautiful imagery before her. being able to see better in the dark anyway as part of her species it's almost amplified. and she once again tries to reach out and grab the stars and planets.*

*looking up at the sky and thinking out loud to herself* Oh, to visit my family again...Been too long...

*sitting on the bench near her* Then go

I'd have Araavos come with me! Maybe Rilith too....and Elios if he wishes....

*Giving Nazmir her ice cream*

*holding her now, as she loses herself in the stars*

*Her tail wags slowly. swaying side to side. but now feeling him hold her she turns and looks up at him. and then points to the sky again. specifically the planets now. tilting her head*

*takes her cone* Thanks Max.

*starts explaining what a planet is to her*

*Listening intently to him*

*watching, and eating her ice cream*

*After listening for a moment she looked over at the others and saw them eating their ice cream and the ice cream shop. pointing to it now*

Would you like some? *she's had some before from their various meals*

*She lights up a bit and nods. fluttering her wings*

Alright, let's get you a treat.. *walks her over to Max's* Now... no being scared... She's being nice and giving you ice cream. We're not scared of someone who's giving you ice cream are we?

*She thinks a moment. and nods again. looking at the variety already present through the window*

*She opens the window and waves* Hi Daddy. And who's this? Here for ice cream i take it?

Maxie, this is Diamond. And tonight is a very special night for her. And she really lloves the stars. Think you can whip up one of those cosmic cones you saw at the convention for her?

*Her face lights up* Gladly! And anything for you?

Why not make it two?

Right on it *She said and started to make it*

*Looking around the rest of the courtyard while they wait*

Do you like it out here?

*She thinks for a moment. And nods. smiling at him*

*Brings them their cosmic cones* Here you go!

*hands her one, and takes the other for himself then taps his to hers before taking the first bite of his*

*She licks hers a bit before taking a bite herself. her tail swishing side to side happily at how tasty it is*

Good isn't it?

*Taps her tail twice on the ground for yes while thoroughly enjoying her ice cream. though a little bit got on her nose while she did. she was loving it*

Good... i'm glad you're enjoying it.

*soon finishes her ice cream. licking her face clean and then looking around again. waiting for him to decide what they do or where they go next*

Takes her to an open field area, and sits down on the grass with her to just sit and spend some time together, though he does lay down to stare up at the cosmos, and encourages her to lay with him*

*She was a little taken aback by the feel of the grass on her feet and kind of high stepped around it like a cat with tape on it's feet. but when he sat down. she sat with him. and fidgeted a little. moving a bit to try and get comfortable as it felt strange to her. especially being nude. and was reluctant to lay down. just trying to adjust right now. being very still*

*moves her to rest her head on his chest, trying to make her a bit more comfortable, as they lay under the stars*

*Letting him lay her down in the grass and on his chest.*

*looking at her* Are you happy?

*Opens her eyes as she was very relaxed and in her own zone right now for the first time in a long time. and looked up at him. thinking for a moment. before nodding. smiling at him and moving a little closer to him.*

Good.... *gives her another kiss, partly because he wants to, and partly to reassure her it wasn't just because of the dungeon*

*Happened to be coming out to the Courtyard after having just came from the pools. still a bit wet. and notices them. her eyes easily visible in the darkness. become wide with shock* Araavos??? Is that... Diamond? What the- *Completely confused and baffled at the moment*

*looks at her and puts a finger to his mouth like, not so loud you'll frighten her, then looks at Diamond* Diamond honey... Look who's coming, it's your mom... Wanna say Hi?

*She looks up at Azeria and sits up quickly. glancing between the two. unsure of what to do. should she say hi? She still barely knows her mother.*

*Looking at them and stepping closer slowly* I-it's okay... Araavos what.... what's.. going on here? why is she out of the Dungeon? Out of her Cage?... Is.. everything okay?... Why is she laying with you like that? and did you just kiss her??? and she let you??????

We're on a date.. *looks at diamond and signs an explanation of what a date is* Isn't that right Diamond?

*She understood the explanation but was confused as to why he brought her on one. but she nodded anyway.*

But... i thought..

Wanna show her your happy tail? *does his heart gesture with his fingers*

*She smiles and Makes the heart shape with her tail again to copy him. but does the happy tail wiggle too*

How... *Her eyes began to water and she covered her mouth.*

She's starting to feel... for the first time in her life. And I encouraged it... She's happy... She's still not capable of self care, or even self reliance. So she still needs me.. But at least now, it doesn't have to be as a just a caged animal. She's becoming a person. And indivudual. For example... Did you know she really enjoys ice cream? And is facinated by the stars?

*hearing the word stars she immediately perks up and points to the sky. her wings fluttering a bit*

*She sniffled and smiled a bit* N-no. i didn't know that... that's.. wonderful. *She turned away to try and compose herself. she never expected this or thought it possible so she's processing*

That's right.. Stars... Can you show your mom what a planet is? Remember we talked about them?

*Looking between the two. and gestures to her mom. and makes a turn around gesture to Araavos. essentially telling him to tell her to turn around. as she's too anxious to approach herself.*

She wants you to turn around..

Oh.. Uhm. sorry. *wiping her eyes and turning. approaching them a little bit more* Yes?

*Points to Azeria to get her attention focused on her finger. and guides her eyes up to the sky. and points to a few planets*

*She followed her finger and looked at them. Smiling a bit* Yes.. The planets are beautiful aren't they? The night sky is quite the sight...

*in Azeria's mind. "I told you i'd take care of her didn't I? I'd say she's coming along very nicely."*

"You're full of surprises... I can't tell if i'm dreaming right now or not.. but if it isn't a dream... i'm.. so happy for her.. i never thought she would... could... be happy.. feel safe. content. think for herself or be her own person... or even.. a person in general..."

*"She's still got a long way to go, for sure. She's still scared of most people, and everything is a new experience for her. But when she's hungry, she tells me, when she wants something. That's new by the way, actually being okay with wanting things, she lets me know. She's learning it's okay to have desires and feelings, and she's exploring... we're... exploring this new her... together..."*

"That's wonderful... Um.. Can you come to my place tonight?.. just.. to spend some time together.. and talk..? Later of course.. when she's home.. wherever her home will be now.. will she still be staying in her cage in the dungeons?"

*having gotten a little used to the feeling of the grass was laying back in it and rolling around*

*"Actually, I was thinking of just keeping her with me wherever I go. Making copies of myself as needed so she's never alone. But another thing that might interest you... Is just how much she actually cares... She's not just happy, she's in love and she cares... She's not just doing what she's told because she has to, but because she wants to keep me as happy as she feels.. Watch this." Turns his head and looks sad, to see how she'll react, and what she'll do to try to cheer him up, without him telling her anything*

*She notices the sudden change in his mood and gets up. looking at him with concern. circling him a moment before nudging his shoulder with her forehead and looking up at him. trying to get him to look at her* (edited)

*does so and smiles at her* It's okay, i'm better.... *and kisses her forehead*

*She blushed a little and hugged him tightly. glad he wasn't sad anymore*

*Just standing there staring at them in utter shock*

*holding Diamond in an embrace*

"That's incredible... but i noticed she hasn't spoken... does she speak at all?... or is she... unable to?"

*"From what I can tell, she was abused for speaking, or crying, or screaming, so she makes as little noise as possible. She can produce sound, it's fear holding her back. And I imagine her vocabulary is limited as such.. Though we'll work on that. And if not, I know every language, including every version of sign language, even the one she's making up cause she doesn't have one. I understand her just fine" Looking at her and smiling*

"Bless her heart...."

*Noticing him smiling at her and mirroring his smile. her tail wiggling happily again and soon pulling away from him. then pointing to her mother and making a gesture of embrace. asking Araavos if she can hug her*

*Looks at Azeria. "She'd like a hug" looks back at Diamond and nods letting her know, it's okay* (edited)

*She kind of just looked between them for a moment. before slowly opening her arms.*

*She goes over. and gently embraces her mother*

*Her eyes fill with tears once again as she hugs this daughter for the first time ever. unable to control herself she holds her closer. taking in her scent. tears running down her cheeks as she strokes her hair a little*

*standing there, letting them have their moment*

*Eventually pulls away from her mom and copies what Araavos has done to her and places her hand on her cheek*

*"She wants to wipe away your sadness She thinks your upset."*

Oh.. No no.. happy tears. *She copies her tail wiggle to let her know she isn't sad.*

*She nods in understanding and nuzzles her mom before going back over to Araavos. taking her place next to him and signing "Thank you"*

Don't thank me... she's your mother, of course you can go to her. You can see her anytime you like. I'm sure she'd love to see you... Actually, your mom wants me to come visit her tonight. Would you like to come too? Spend the night with your mom? *looks at Azeria, "we can still talk, it'll just be in private that's all"*

*She looked a bit skeptical for a moment. looking at her mom. then back at him. and nodding in agreement*

of course you can come..

*knowing though she doesn't speak, she can understand him just tells her* Did you hear that? Your mom wants you to spend time with her too!

*She wiggles her tail and smiles happily. especially seeing his smile.*

Well then let's go! What do you think diamond? You ready to go see your mom's house?

*Nodding excitedly and fluttering her wings.*

*Can't help but chuckle*

And so, the trio head to Azeria and Azuli's house.
